Associate Attorney

Edner J. Geffrard, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at The Ticktin Law Group. Edner was born and raised in Haiti, where he completed two and a half years of Medical School at “Université Notre Dame” before leaving due to a devastating earthquake. Edner later moved to New York City and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon graduation, Edner worked as a litigation paralegal in New York for several years. After developing a passion for law and eager to help others within his community, Edner decided to attend Ave Maria School of Law.

There, Edner was a Dean’s Delegate, a member of the Moot Court Board and Student Honor Committee. Edner was also a Student Ambassador, a member of the Black Law Student Association, Sports & Entertainment Law Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Edner earned an Honor Roll for his achievements in Spring 2021. Edner was the winner of the Robert H. Bork, Moot Court competition in 2020. Edner won Best Brief and was a finalist in 2021 Moot Court competition. Edner also competed in the UCLA Cyber Law Security, Appellate competition.

During law school, Edner successfully completed a Virtual Summer Externship with a Civil Rights Firm based out of Oregon, Portland. Prior to joining The Ticktin Law Group, Edner was a Public Benefit Attorney in Broward County.

Edner is fluent in Creole, French and English. Edner also has Professional Working Proficiency in Spanish. Beside practicing law, Edner enjoys playing chess and volleyball, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
