Fine Start for Attorney Phaneuf as Client Remains in Home

June 1, 2018

Just last week The Ticktin Law Group had a client facing eviction by the Sheriff. One of the newest members of the Firm, Attorney Robert B.H. Phaneuf, took the call from the client. Attorney Phaneuf diffused the situation and filed an Emergency Motion to Stay Writ of Possession & Request A Hearing. He then successfully argued the emergency motion in court.
Florida Statutes encourage peaceful process when an owner or landlord exercises a right of re-entry or a claim for ownership of property. No matter the phase of litigation, you have rights to protect in the court system. All parties have an obligation to act in a peaceful and reasonable manner, even during the final stages when the Sheriff is posting a notice on the property.
