Teamwork Leads To Case Dismissal With Prejudice

May 16, 2016

Last week, Attorney Christine Deis attended a hearing where the Court conducted an evidentiary analysis of the multiple violations of pre-trial and discovery orders committed by the other side. Through Attorney Deis' extensive preparation, she was able to successfully argue to the Court as to why the Case should be dismissed.
This case had a checkered past, wherein Attorney Michael Vater had previously obtained a Dismissal without Prejudice, but the other side appealed to the Fourth District Court of Appeal. The Appellate Court remanded for this evidentiary hearing.

Yesterday, the Court entered the Order granting the Dismissal with prejudice, which means that the Plaintiff is forever barred from filing another suit against our Client.
